I'm not sure if this is mentioned already or not; I did a couple searches.

When I program a recording session from the TVGuide, then go mack to main/programs/pending and update the speed from medium to high, when I return to the pending program section, all the programs have lost their channel ID-- just display as "@channel". Trying to update one of these gives a "reference not found" type of error. Quit GBPVR, restart, all the programs have their proper channel settings back and can be updated (once) then problem reoccurs.

Not a huge issue, but a pain. Especially since I have a bunch that got set up at medium, and I wish to switch to high.

did I miss a setting to make the default recording quality "high" when doing the one-touch recording from the TV Guide?

thanks!

no 'medium' is allways default. but as a workaraund: you can edit the config and modify the 'medium' quality by giving it the same settings as 'high'.
AMD 1600mHz, 512 M RAM, 20+160 GB drive, Hauppauge PVR-350 + PVR-150 + PVR-150MCE, Win XP Pro SP3, using software decoding.

There is another theory which states that this has already happened.

Thanks. I'll change that. Anyone else seeing the issue re: the channel being lost for all pending recordings after updating one pending recording?

Repeats 100% for me here. Really made me panic the first time Smile Thought I'd lost a bunch of pending recordings/ mangled the whole install.

Please give me a detailed description of this problem, including steps to reproduce it.

Use the TV guide (Zap2it) to record 4 or 6 sessions with the one-button record (for me, on the Hauppauge remote). Should happen with just one, but I"ve only tried when I had multiple. Multiple programs for the same channel, too, just different days.

Go to recordings/pending. OPen one session that you just set up.

Edit the session, I changed "medium" quality to "high". Save the changes.

Back in "pending", all pending recordings now have "@channel" as their programmed channel, not a real channel. Trying to edit any of these pending recordings now gives an error "object reference not set to an existence of an object" (perhaps due to the "@", I"m not sure how variables are being done here). I haven't waited to see if a pending recording could really start or not.

You can close and relaunch GBPVR to get things back the way they should be.

GBPVR .95.16. XP and .net with all the patches available (even optional .net ones ) as of last weekend.

Hope that helps!

Thats odd sounding. I'm not able to reproduce this here.

Can you reproduce it, then zip and attach your gbpvr.exe.log file?

sorry I've not got to this yet; soon I hope. It does repeat so this should be simple.

Any other files to attach (config etc)? I could have something weird in config, my initial install worked so I didn't change much, even though some settings aren't perfect for my setup it does function so I was loathe to change Smile
