Sub - You snuck in apparent (test?) support for the MAUI-III PAL card in the new release without any (that I've seen) announcement. Would setting up a section in direct.ini for the NTSC version be a big deal? I know you got a PAL one from the folks at Lumanate and probably not the NTSC version. Any tips before I do my bull in a china shop attempt at a NTSC section.

What version of the MAUI-III drivers are you working with?

TIA,
Littlalex

Its actually not fully working, which is why I didnt mention publically. I had intended to remove this card from the list before the release but forgot.

I have been working on it, but I was having a problem with one specific thing which I wasnt able to yet work around. This card was causing me some real grief.

In theory it should be pretty easy to add the NTSC section (once PAL is working), but I couldnt be sure of the various filter names for the NTSC version so I didnt add it myself. It may just be a matter of replacing 'PAL' with 'NTSC', or possible just delete references to PAL (ie, NTSC assumed the default).

So I take it that's why I didn't see any mention of MAUI-I NTSC either in the release notes. Anything we can do to help? If there is a prerelease, I'd be happy to test.

BTW, did you just receive the MAUI-III? Or did you get a few others too?

Yes, but it uses the same filter architecture as the screenshots you supplied earlier. I'd say once I get the MAUI-III working, it'll also work for your MAUI-I....the change looked so simple on the surface...I'm sure I'll get to the bottom of the problem, but the just need to find a day or so spare.

I was wondering what the status of this might be. I seem to remeber that you said it will probably make it into the Feb release since it didn't make it into the November2005 release. Any chance we'll see support in the next release.

Thanks,
Greg
