Hi

Anything in these logs to show why my live tv playback would be really stuttery after being up a couple of days, and i can see it trying to change channel but doesn't seem to happen.

Also seems to miss the odd recording lately.

I can get in via remote control and bring up task manager and the GBPVR task is on 90% - memory is ok

This will problably sort itself out with a reboot. Even removing all plugins and restarting GBPVR (not the machine) results in the same

I suspect it is to do with having deintelacing set to 'none'. It seems to do pretty evil with some of the Hauppauge cards. I use 'encoder pass-through', which I imagine is what Hauppauge and Conexant have spent most of there time and effort focusing on (given these devices are all about hardware MPEG2 encoding).

ok, i'll make that cahnge and see what happens. thing is it's only really been recently, so i'd suspect a plugin....but not sure sure how to determine which one, without pretty much knobbling the system.

I've figured it out, I don't think it's any of the plugins, doing that seems to make no difference. But if i shut down GBPVR, then open the config all and ok it's cleared it up.

i wonder if the recording service needed a restart??

Enclosed are the logs...all of them this time. Any ideas??

GBPVR has been restarted twice, and the config app run once.

Hmm, wierd, definitely the recording service. Today same thing, live tv pretty much dead, and it can't change channel, and unless i restart gbpvr, videos are pretty shot as well. Restart GBPVR and videos are usable.

Then i didn't go into the config config app today just restarted recording service, and live tv comes back, and all is fine.

I've removed two plugins and i'll try it overnight again, but i wouldn't expect those to affect the recording service.
