unable to start BDA device

it would almost certainly benefit from a powered hub, the nova-t draws the maximum permissible current (from the usb port) of 500mA.

occasionally my nova-t usb2 does not initialise correctly when waking up from standy, resulting in "ERROR Failed to find BDA tuner filter: H".
you can re-initialise the device using devcon restart "USB\VID_2040*" (actual numbers vary)
