problem with recurring recordings after epg change

I am pretty sure this is not a new subject but I can't find it, so I apologise forehand.
I have a show scheduled for daily recording. What happened is: The epg-info for that program changed a little (10 min later), now I have two shows scheduled, from which one gives an error (the later one, obvious). It seems that emptying the epg doesn't help because the gbpvr database seems to keep the old info from the season-schedule. When I cancel the season-recording, empty epg, update epg, season-schedule again, things are fine again.
Is this normal, am I missing something?
