Since upgrading my OS to XP MCE 2005 VMR9 and VMR7 no longer have OSD support? Also F7 doesn't work with them. VMR9 custon works fine though. Any ideas why this is? Whats the differnce between VM9 and custom anyway? I'm using Intervideo Codec by the way and it worked fine when had XP Pro with same setup!

Thanks

Set your machine to use VMR9, then play a file, then zip and attach your logs and I'll take a look.

Most confusing. VMR9 works fine with video but not on live TV! ie OSD with videos but none with Live TV. Here's the logs you need I hope!

What version of the Intervideo decoders are you using? They seem to be refusing to go into VMR mode, instead opting to use Overlay which results in missing OSD.

Actualy now you mention it its becoming clear! When i used XP Pro Hauppauge drivers they installed a mpeg decoder but now using a MCE driver set they don't come with an mpeg decoder so used an old copy of WINDVD I had floating around! Will have to get the latest version and see if it fixes it! Thanks for looking.

Yeah, they probably pre-dated VMR.
