comskip and comclean

Hello.
I have been using comskip for a while, and just got the comclean process to work as well... My question is...

What are the best ways to verify that the comskip has detected the appropriate spots for commercials? Does anyone have a trick or something for validating this? Or do I just have to verify each show and the cutpoints within GBPVR?

I think you'll find the debugwindow.rtf and manual.rtf and tuning.rtf guides that should have come with the comskip package (see http://mk.kaashoek.com/comskip/ ) have quite some detail for a separate debugging process (with some command line debug switches) for reviewing the points in any mpg to check this.

For the shows that are important to me, I use videoredo, it opens the vprj file if you have comskip create that and is very easy to use, and lets you adjust the cut point and playback as a test and do loads of other stuff too, worth paying for is this one.

The debug option in comskip is...well it's a debug window if you get my drift?

For those shows that aren't important, I don't care, if I miss a bit I factor it as the same as if I had been interrupted or had to do sometime else for a few moments
