well, the audio ended up being horribly de-synched for the episode. however my next recording did not have this issue upon opening in vdubmod. so i guess this is a one time problem, and i hope it doesn't occur again..

it happened again... i just reformatted my hard drive, fresh installed everything, i have no other problems with my pc now.. it was the drawn together recording from 12:30am till 1 am this morning. attaching my logs.
the thing is, i can watch these files and the audio stays sync'd, but if i try to compress them, it goes all out of whack.

All I can suggest is try different versions of the ATI drivers and hope it goes away. This has to occurring in the device or it's drivers.

alright... thanks.. i am going to roll back to the oldest drivers i can find.. probably just the ones that came with the device, as i had many issues with their updated remote wonder drivers, and was forced to use the original ones provided on cd. ati sucks monkey nuts, btw. just gotta spread the word, their tech/customer support is a joke, and their driver updates (non-catalyst) cause more problems than anything i have ever encountered..
thanks for your unending support.

i rolled back, and still got the error, but it was during my testing period. i set up four 10 minute consecutive manual recordings, the second had errors in the timestamp. i used projectx to demux the tracks, and compressed my audio with besweet, now doing the video using vdubmod. will remux and test again, but my avs and ogg files were sync'd.
i have several different versions of the driver i can try, i have not tried to use drivercleaner on them yet, but will before installation of next driver.
the fourth recording also had errors. will try the same method if it works on the other one. hopefully help anyone else out if they encounter this. i'm going to finish the first compression, clean and install a different driver, and do another test of recordings. will post back as soon as i verify the accuracy of the compressed test file.
