This plugin is a gem. I'm sure you'll get over the initial release bugs.
So, an idea for down the road--allow an os command for each event. It could simply be a batch file. Great job! -David

I finally got it working, sort of. I notice that i can add dates just fine editing the xml file directly. If i try to add a date going thru the config, more often than not i get a net exception in config. Not a big deal, it's a young plugin.
One other thing, i notice that a button for the panel shows up on the main menu? i'm assuming it shouldn't since trying to choose it just locks everything up. Nicely done!

When should the command fire ? The thing is that the "Reminder" will fire everytime you use GBPVR until the very day the event is over. My wife was always really good at remembering the friends & family birthdays but she has a really hectic job these days - we've forgotten 3 birthdays in as many months. :o I'm useless at knowing what day it is - I once forgot my own birthday.
 (I'm not joking).I was thinking about writing something like this but I'll give this a go instead. Cheers, Brian
