UNC makes no difference, but running the gbpvr-service with an administrator-account with access rights to the share does. But I don't know, whether this has any negative side-effects.

I set my system on standby each night and still, I can record shows and obviously, it goes back to standby when complete. Currently, I don't have my system set to standby at all so that can't be it. How is it possible to record when in standby?

Hi,

does anybody know how the auto-shutdown feature (and generally all power management features) is set for the login-prompt of w2k? My assumptions are either:
- the admin settings
- the default user settings
- the settings of the last user (what's about initial-login?)
- some extra entry within the registry
I played a little bit around with these assumptions but I didn't get a clear picture. Can anybody help me?
