hi there well im VERY new to the world of HTPC, but it seemed like a logical upgrade for my home theater. ok so im turning my old eMachines into a "sort of" HTPC. im using a Hauppauge pvr 150 on my XP comp.

im using zap2it for my EPG

within the "direct connection configuration" if i click the box that says "only show devices detected" it says it only detects a pvr-250, a pvr-250 w/ FM tuner, and a pvr 350. but no sign of my 150. ive tried all the options and all them were using the option that say "external tuner, s-video input" but i get no image in GBPVR.

also i dont know how to make GBPVR use the IR blaster that came with my 150 (version 1407), im not sure what .EXE file to make it use.

anyways id really appreciate any help with this.

Can you try manually setting it to a PVR150, then try to view live tv, then zip and attach your logs?

well ive tried manually setting it to PVR 150, but when i click live tv i get nothing. im not sure what you mean by zipping my logs, where are my logs files sotred for this program, and where would i have to put them for them to be used as a driver. ive been suggested to tdownlaod the latest drivers from the hauppauge site over at avs forum, which i will do 2moro, but right now its 4am and im tired.

Your log files are in c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr. They show with name xxxx.log or with a filetype of 'Log File'. Zip and attach these to this post, and I'll see if I can see the error.

Are you sure you dont have a PVR250?
