Hi,
I want to burn shows I record to a standard DVD.
all my recorded mpeg-files play back fine on my pc. I can also burn them with no problems to a DVD with Nero (7). But, when I view them on my (standalone) DVD-player, audio and video are out of sync.
I searched the forums and tried mencoder. The (newly) encoded file still plays back fine on my pc. It even starts out good when burned to a DVD and played in my DVD player, but after a while, I get weird short skips (a few minutes apart), and with every skip, the audio gets more out of sync (starting with about a second after the first one).
Is there a solution to this problem? I don't think Nero re-encodes the videofile, and it should be compliant. So another burning app should make no difference, I guess?
Tried encoding a recorded mpeg file for my ipod (with videora), and that works well too.
Why can't I simply burn a mpeg file to a dvd?
(hauppauge 150mce, btw.)
