v96.12 and mvp remote problems?

I just updated to v96.12 and am now having difficulty with the hauppauge remote that came with my mvp. while navigating the menu, the buttons seem to register. While using the search guide, the buttons work. however, when i'm watching a recorded show or video file, the pause/ff/rew/stop buttons dont work. the volume control buttons dont work either.

interestingly the red light on the mvp does blink like it is receiving a signal. the only button that works while watching is the power button.

anyone else have this issue? if not, can someone post the previous version of gbpvr, cuz i want my remote function back...

Are you sure you've stopped both Hauppauge MVP services?

yeah, the gbpvr interface was there, so i assume that both hauppauge services were killed.

i went and reinstalled 95.16, which was what i was running previously and everything is back to normal.

i'm about to retry in a bit.

If you only stop one of the two services, you get the GB-PVR interface, and can play files but pause/ff/rw etc wont work.

Start playback of a file, then try to skip/ff, then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

i just reinstalled both the hauppauge package and the 96.12 and everything works. thanks though. thank goodness cuz i dont know how to post a log:o .
