V96.12, dual Nova-T pci

On 2 successive nights I had a scheduled recording stop short.

The program time & length appeared ok in the TV guide but it stopped after about 10 mins instead of running for 60 mins

The progran is Green Wing starting at 23:05, the recording service logs show 'Recording has passed endtime+padding. Stopping' after 15mins

Is this something to do with the recording ending on the next day?

What is your end padding time and how did you schedule the recording?

Reason I ask is that I had a couple which stopped after 10 minutes which was my end padding time. Turned out that a bug in I think it was the Video Archive plug in(?) set the end time to the same as the start time if you went in and adjusted the padding. End result, end time=start time+end padding therefore 10 minutes in my case.

David.

I scheduled the rcording via TV Guide & then used Video Archive to change the start padding to 5 mins & end padding to 10 mins.
The recording time was 23:05 to 00:10, so with the padding it was 23:00 to 00:20.

So you think this is a VA problem?

Yep, that's the one, there's a fix in the thread where I posted a topic of pretty much the same name. With that version, if you touch the padding then the show end will be start time+padding. So you will have recorded from 23:00 (start - 5) and it will have stopped at 23:15 (start + end pad)

I'll leave you to find the posted fix dll Wink Hint would be to search for posts by me and I think the thread was in the plug in thread.

[Edit: for some bizarre reason i'm feeling exceedingly helpful tonight, it's this thread, fix in there by Jeff:-]
