My transport stream file collection

Sub I don't have a HD capture device for GBPVR, but would a firewire capture of the ts stream from comcast cable be of any interest? 8GB/hr.

Are you interested in a stream from Swedish DVB-T?. I have a Nova-T device capturing swedish freeview.
I am not sure how to capture the stream, but I guess I can find out if needed.

Dont get too excited - I just mean I've had a enough people offer to send me files. ATSC HDTV support is still last in line on 'new features' pecking order, since it's the hardest for me to test anything.

Do I need to setup a live video webcast so you can "watch" my HTPC as you test it remotely at the same time?

Ironically enough, I can do this through MSN Messenger using my digital camcorder (read: $1200 video camera) as a webcam. I've been told that the transmissions from this camera are outstanding considering it's running through MSN.

Just a thought.

I have only limited access to DVB signals here in NZ, and these only make use of some DVB features.

Just curious Sub - what DVB signals do we get in NZ?? Are you talking Satellite DVB or DVB Terrestrial? I'm new to this DVB side of things and purchased a PCMCIA TV Card that was dual digital analogue and only when setting it up realised it was DVB-T which is useless in NZ from what I've read but I really haven't researched this. The card was only $125+gst so its still ok for an Analogue card for the laptop - never know when you might need another tv

For DVB in NZ, we're a bit limited. The main one I use is DVB-S, via a satellite dish to the Optus B1 satellite. It carries several versions of TV1 and TV2, plus NasaTV, DWTV, CCTV and a widescreen TVNZ channel.

In Auckland you can also get DVB-T transmissions with the same channels, which is being used as a trial for potential NZ roll out later this year. If we're lucky we may DVB-T nationwide, with TV3, C4 and Prime joining those I mentioned above.
