sub Wrote:For DVB in NZ, we're a bit limited. The main one I use is DVB-S, via a satellite dish to the Optus B1 satellite. It carries several versions of TV1 and TV2, plus NasaTV, DWTV, CCTV and a widescreen TVNZ channel.

In Auckland you can also get DVB-T transmissions with the same channels, which is being used as a trial for potential NZ roll out later this year. If we're lucky we may DVB-T nationwide, with TV3, C4 and Prime joining those I mentioned above.

What model card do you personally use in NZ - I'd be keen to play with this at some stage. Could be a toy to purchase down the track.

Hello Sub!

Would you be interested in DVB-T TS from Estonia? It is not officially launched service here yet, but is in test now. Should be official after a year or something. Currently one TS consists BBC World, Euronews (with different audio tracks), local channel and two test channels in MPEG4 format.

Let me know if you're interested in and how much data (MB/GB) you need.
--- GBPVR system ---
Server: homemade (ASUS MB, AMD x2 5200+, 4G RAM, 3.2TB RAID5, 1Gbit) + DVB-T Hauppauge HVR1300 (h264 TS) + IPTV
Clients: ASUS Pundit-R (P4 3.2GHz Northwood!, 1G RAM, zero HDD - netboot, WinLIRC to use Hauppauge remote on system without Hauppauge devices) + IBM ThinkPad T42 (pvr over 802.11g) + FSC N560 WM6 (802.11g) + etc Smile

Yes, that'd be good. I dont have any samples with MPEG4 channels yet.

A couple of CDs or a DVD would be ideal. I'll PM you my delivery address details.

I can send ATSC captured on a local Dallas TV channel OTA using a myhHD-130 and burned onto 3 DVDs. Would that be of any use?

Would it be any help to have access to a GBPVR machine running in the UK with good DVB-T signal that you can remote control and access for file transfer, capture, software testing or whatever? Just a thought ...

It would be occasionally helpful, but I'm not sure how often. Its kind of difficult doing stuff remotely.

Still looking for .ts files Sub? I've got an ATI HDTV Wonder and could send you a bunch of ATSC transport streams from the US. Some of these are, of course, huge since they're HD. Possibly FTP upload them to you?
