Hi

I can't see the answer to my elsewhere, it's regarding recording made with a Nova-T Freeview card here in the UK.

Recordings are .dvr-ms and not mpeg, can somebody explain why, as the card is advertised by Hauppauge as doing mpeg recordings.

Is it posible to force it to do mpeg's to save doing some post-processing?

Thanks for any answers

If you have installed the Cyberlink mux and selected this as the BDA mux in the config app, then it'll recording to a .mpg file.

I have selected Cyberlink under BDA Multiplexer on the Misc tab and get the .dvr-ms, is there anywhere else I should look?

Thanks again

Hope this is hat you need

NO MULTIPLEXER FILTERS WHERE FOUND ON YOUR MACHINE.

GB-PVR will not function correctly unless you have WinXP SP1 or higher, which has a built-in DVR-MS mux filter.

I do have SP1 installed, the system has been working well for some time with a PVR350 with composite in.
