Whilst trying the new IRBlaster code and my channel numbering, I have been starting recordings from the tv guide and cancelling them to check channel changing is reliable with the new code.
With one program just started recording, I went to cancel it in the pending recording menu and it seemed to cancel ok. The red colour went away in the tv guide. But 'show status' from the tray showed it to be still recording. Going to 'live tv' gave a 'no tuners available' message. Resolved by stopping recording service.

attached, tailend of recording services log. Program tested was BlackAdder.

I am having the exact same problem. I have two capture cards and they both started recording shows scheduled for 9 pm. I was watching a ball game that went into overtime and so, as expected, live tv stopped and my recordings started. I cancelled one of the recordings in "pending recordings" and thought everything was fine, but gbpvr would not give up the free capture card and the recordingservices icon said it was still recording the show I cancelled. I too had to end the recording service. By that time, I had missed much of the ball game overtime play. Very frustrating.

Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

I don't have a set of logs that show the problem but I have had the same issues. Two tuners, I record two programs and try to stop one a few minutes into it, and I have to stop it twice. Its not all the time just once and a while. I didn't think much of it. I'll post a set of logs If I can catch it.

Thanks
