EPG Update failing

I've been away for over a week and come to find my EPG empty so I attempted a manual update through the config. I received the error "Your EPG source does not appear to be configured correctly. Please check the EPG Source Settings and try again"

Is anyone familiar with this issue and have a solution?

Has you subscription expired? This is the most common problem for those of us on zap2it.

Another problem I had last week was some data missing on my listings. To fix it I had to open the config app, change the EPG update to "complete EPG reload" and try it again. After that It worked fine.

My subscription is valid for another month and I have "Complete EPG reload" checked.

On a side note... when the subscription expires what do I need to do to re-subscribe?

click the 'update epg' button in the config app, then zip and attach your config.exe.log file and I'll take a look.

No, you'll need to log into the http://labs.zap2it.com website and take a survey, and it'll be auomatically renewed.

If you gave them a valid e-mail address you will get a reminder and link to renew. You did give them a valid e-mail didn't you?

It looks like an error occuring at the zap2it end.

It might worth logging into http://labs.zap2it.com and checking your channel lineup. Someone recently reported this same error and found there channel lineup had been removed. They fixed it by adding it back in.

The channel lineup was, in fact, removed.

I did give them a valid email address and the EPG appears to be updating at this time. So, I'm all set. Thanks for the help.

I am having the same trouble... anyone know if Zap2it is having an issue at the moment. The log file says unable to connect to remote server.. My subscription did expire, but I renewed it. Maybe it takes a while for it to be activated? Heres part of the config.log

Your problem looks like one of two things - either zap2it's server was down when you tried, or more likely, a firewall at your end is getting in the way.
