I installed the latest version of GB-PVR and am ironing out glitches in my understanding... the latest is as follows:
When I watch Live TV, no problems.
When I watch a recording, no problems.
When I watch a video stored on another computer, no problem.
However, when I am watching a Live program, and a Pre-set recording starts, I can watch the recording as it is being made, but I get no sound. Similarly, if I am not using Gb-PVR actively when it starts a recording, and I open GB-PVR and accept the option to watch the recording in progress, I can watch, but there is no sound.
At that time, all other XP applications have sound.
(I never had this problem before I upgraded.)
Any hints on how to track this down?
Thanks,
Paul
