I have everything up and running and am pretty much pleased with it. But there must be some tweaks that I need to make.

This is my system:

GBPVR PC Specs:

Pentium 4 2.00 GHZ
512 Mb Ram
Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition
Service Pack 2
NVIDIA GeForce MX-420
Emuzed Maui III-G
S-Video

It is dedicated to the GBPVR, nothing else is running.

I get a jerky picture sometimes. Especially when I watch something like CNN or CNBC where there is a news scroll bar on the bottom. The news bar jerks all over the place. The picture is also very jerky during fast action sequences. Strangely enough, out of the blue, the video and audio get out of sync by a couple of seconds.

Any ideas as to what I can do to fix this?

The most likely causes are either the audio/video decoders you're using, or the faulty version of quartz.dll (http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=5600)

The crawl at the bottom may always be a little jerky, but the rest of the pix/sound should be fine. It seems to be the hardest thing to do video-wise, but it always surprises me how it doesn't affect the rest of the playback.

Thanks,

What audio/vido decoders do you recommend I use?

Also, where would I find the proper version of quartz.dll?

I dont think there is a definitive answer to this, but its certainly been discussed many times in the past - use the forum search.

Read that URL I provided.
