Hi,

Wonder if anyone can help out here, I think I read a post on this before but I just cant find it now, so sorry if this is out there already.

I have a PVR 500 in which I use the s-video input as a recording source for my SKY TV STB.
I also have the 2 separate tuners in the PVR 500 tuned for terrestrial BBC1, BBC2, ITV.... etc.
I also have a Nova-T that gets me the UK Freeview channels which also includes BBC1, BBC2... etc.

Using BBC1 purely as an example, I can receive BBC1 via Sky and also on the 2 terrestrial sources, and on the digital source (Nova-T). This might sound a little weird but I want to be able to control which source I use when recording BBC1. Actually I dont want to use the Sky source as a default but I may want to record from this occasionally. So I renamed the BBC1 channel on the SKY capture source to "BBC1 (Sky)". That gives me a new row in my TV Guide which is what I wanted, but is there anyway I can copy the EPG data from "BBC1" to "BBC1 (sky)" in GBPVR or do I have to edit my XMLTV data manually ?

Or does anyone have a better suggestion.

Thanks

No, there is nothing built in that can do this.

Not really, but its worth being aware that it'll prefer capture sources at the top of the list when scheduling recoridngs, so put sky at the bottom of the list and it'll only be used when the channel cant be found on another capture source.

Im using XMLTV GUI and pulling from Radio times, sorry dont know if thats yours.

I couldnt workout how to get the scripts to work in XMLTV GUI to do this, do you have an example somewhere ?

Sub : can existing capture sources be re-ordereded or do I have to recreate them to get them in the order I want ?

You cant reorder them. You need to drop and recreate them.

the +1 generator script should be able to copy a channel,
edit scripts\uk_rt\ukrt_plus1_gen.lua
add the channel you want to copy into the list at the top with an offset of 0
