Is there any way to adjust the start and end times of manual recordings in one minute increments? It only seems to adjust in ten minute increments on my machine.

I *think* you can enter the time with the numbers on your remote, and in that manner accomplish what you're trying to do. Have you tried that?

I'd like the answer to this too.

Recording an On-Demand movie on my cable box is more difficult because of this. I'd love to be able to queue the movie on my cable box, hit pause, go into gbpvr, setup a manual recording that starts 1 minute from now, wait a minute, hit play on the cable remote and walk away. Now I have to wait until I'm at a 10 minute point on the hour, and if I keep the cable box paused too long, it stops and I have to re-queue the movie.

For my specific problem, a better solution would be to simply hit record during live tv and exit, allowing the recording to go on in the background instead of cancelling when I exit, but that's covered in another post on the wishlist forum.

Seriously? Shoot, I'll have to try the obvious when I get home then.

Thanks. I just tried it using my MVP and was able to enter the exact start and end times using the remote.

You can bump the start time back by 10 mins. & it will start recording immediatly.
