Hi I get the "No tuners are available to watch the requested chanel. You can choose to watch on of the currently recording programs" message when I try to watch live TV.

But I am not recordings anything. When I open up the GB-PVR recording status its red, but it doesnt say anything about what it is or isnt recording. I've never seen it like this. It just shows the blue windows bar with the minim, maximize and close button, but nothing under it! Everything was working fine before but then I had hard drive problems (but that should be unrelated).

Ive tried reinstalling gb-pvr and no luck. I installed the mpeg2 decoder http://hauppauge.lightpath.net/software/...wsmd05.exe here but no luck. I got winTv2000 installed and it works fine for all chanels. When I use the GB-PVR tuning assistant all the chanels show up fine!

I am really confused, if anyone can help, I will be forever indebted.

I have Hauppuage 150 mce on windows xp

Thanks in advance.

Regarding your post number 2, that is normal. The recording service is needed to watch tv.

Regarding post #1, have you added your capture card to the capture source list in the config app?

Ok... very weird. I restarted recording services and now it goes fine. Mmmm not sure why, I guess the service was just not running right at first. Hope I don't have to do this every time I restart.

Thanks for you help!

Now I just gotta find out why its so choppy.
