Second column in main menu

I am trying to add a second (or maybe even third) column of buttons to the main menu, so every plugin would be selectable without scrolling -> optimal for touchscreensystems.
To be honest, I am not a programmer (and probably never will be:o ), but can anybody please help me?

Oh...then I can stop trying...

But it should be possible though to provide the navigation arrows in the main menu with a function, isn´t it?
Does anybody know how to do that?
I tried myself, but didn´t get it.

I dont really understand what exactly you mean, but at the moment its not possible for plugin developers to modify the main menu functionality in any way.
