I have searched the forum and see that there has been some discussion on this but I am not sure what the final status is. There has been talk of work arounds and manual launches but I can't see definative answer.

....So is it possible to launch the screensaver to an external application? Specifically a .src

If not any plans?
Core2-E2180, 1G RAM, 1Gb-5450 Silent, 2Tb +300g HDDs.
Three tuners: [SIZE=2][SIZE=1]Twinhan DVB-T x 1, Hauppauge Nova 500T (dual) [/SIZE][/SIZE]
DTB Digital SD + HD content (PAL-MPEG2-AC3).
Custom case made very quiet. Zalman CPU cooler.
Sits in rack with other HiFi.
ParaLED to show tuner activity.
Display: 42" 1920x1080p Panasonic Plasma

1x wired MVP
1x PC client

No, its not current possible to do this. I have no plans to add this, since this wouldnt be compatible with the MVP/PVR350/XCard.

it would be simple enough for a screensaver plugin to do this, just when gbpvr activates the internal screensaver that screensaver plugin just activates a standard windows one.

I could imaging this might be a simple plugin all it would do is pass off to another application - but I wouldn't know where to start.

Last time I programmed with any depth it was in Pascal anyone remember that??

yeah i know, i meant would work fine for PC users using gfx card video out. ill whip up a plugin in a week or so. just remind me in 10 days if i havent posted anything by then, and if no one else does it by then. its a like 5 minute plugin to do.

sub added visualization support in gbpvr so i didnt see the need to create such a plugin. so no i wont be doing this.
