Figured I'd toss this out there since Movie Wizard has been out for awhile, but it was only recently I found out buried in a thread that it can launch external video players. Movie Wiz can do other cool stuff, too, but I don't think there's been a workable plugin for external players since PVRx2 came out, so I thought it deserved its own headline.
Besides other uses for external players, the true greatness comes from PowerDVD doing what I know of no other player being able to do: play video smoothly in fast-forward with audio. This is the only reason I keep PowerDVD around anymore.
My generic MCE remote showed up today. Installed HIP and got the main GBPVR functions working. I can't get the remote to use the PowerDVD speed control with one button, but one button on my remote does bring up the PowerDVD menu window which lets me choose the fast-forward speed with the arrow and enter buttons, so that's not bad for now.
