I have a dual monitor setup, and would like to request the ability to have full screen capability on the 2nd display.

This is a function of your video card, and nothing to do with gbpvr.
You can never have enough tuners!

Have you tried to move GB-PVR to the 2nd display (e.g. extended windows desktop) and hit Alt-RETURN ?

I disagree. Other media players including DivX player, PowerDVD, Windows Media Player, BSplayer allow you to full screen (alt-enter) the application in whatever display you drag the window to. This is a programmable feature - one that has not been implemented.

The only option that currently exists in GBPVR is the option to full screen the application to your PRIMARY display.

You can drag it in 'window mode' to the second monitor, then press alt-enter to fullscreen it.

I've just setup a dual display in my living room, with the monitor as the default display and the TV as the secondary.

Windows implementation of Dual Display seems to be a bit hit and miss - sometime It'll remember in which screen you last had a window opened, but most of the time it forgets.

At the moment if you launch GB-PVR at startup it will open in the Primary display (the top left point at 0,0).
Perhaps Sub could experiment with allowing the user to specify at which co-ordinate to open the fullscreen display. In my case I'd want the top left to be positioned at 1025,0

For the time being I have found a solution which is a bit more straightforward than the "opening in windowed mode" method. If you add a second shortcut to the secondary display desktop and double-click it Windows will start GB-PVR in fullscreen in the secondary display.

Hope this helps.

Most (if not all) video cards allow you to do this. If you're using nvidia check out the nview options...

One thing that I found is that GB-PVR refuses to go to fullscreen with alt-enter if you are currently watching a video stream. If you're in the GUI it works fine.

Have you installed the latest version? Sub mentioned fixing this.
