It is not the GUI, it's the GB-PVR.exe that is started as "SYSTEM" user that is using 50% CPU and 40MB memory - just sitting there. Nothing obvious in the logs (just the
Code:
ERROR    [2]    Unable to find node: /settings/SpecialElements/SpecialElement[@name="MenuType"]
), no I/O activity. When opening and closing the config application - I get a memory pointer error, "referencing to address 0x00000000".

Earlier I thought it was the weather-plugin but removing that did not help. Can it be other plugins (even though, as I said, it's not the GUI gbpvr.exe)?

I remeber there was some talk about big pending/scheduled recording lists could increase the CPU but can't find it in the forum.

The problem is not caused by the 'unable to find node' message in your log. This is normal.

I'd start by temporarily deleting the contents of your plugins directory.

I guessed that was an irrellevant error. I start deleting plugins right away...
