I seem to recall reading (but not sure where) that the EPG will update automatically from Bleb(UK) providing Bleb(UK) is set up in the GB-PVR Configurator.  This works very well indeed.  I also note that there is the facility to manually update via the <edit recording source> tab in the Configurator.  However I would like to be able to alter the time of the automatic update but cannot seem to find anything in any of the config/xml/ini files to change.  Is is possible for a user to alter the update time in this way?  If not perhaps could this be added as an option in the 'Bleb Configuration window"?

Keep up the great work

I've added an option for the next release to allow you to configure what hour GB-PVR will run its EPG update process, or to disable it entirely.

Great.  Thanks.  Perhaps this could cover specifying hour and minutes rather than just hour.  This will lighten the the load on the EPG server providing the information by allowing people to avoid peak activity "on the hour".

Nah, specifying an hour is good enough. It wont happen dead on the hour, but somewhere in the next 10 - 15 minutes.

If you need to run it at a more specific time than this, you can always set this setting to "never" and perform you own EPG updates (via button or -UpdateEPGOnly).

That will be fine.

[QUOTE=Quote ].... perform you own EPG updates (via button or -UpdateEPGOnly).

Noted.  Thanks for the comments

I must have missed the place where it says it updates automatically. Where is this? Is it only for Bleb or does it work for Zap2it as well?

The current version will try an automatically process the EPG updates at approximately 3:00AM, if the computer is turned on. This applies to XMLTV / Zap2it / Bleb.

The next version will give more control and will allow you to specify "Never", or an hour (12:00AM - 11:00PM).

And it's just the service that needs to be running, not the viewer, correct?
