Weather feature request: update maps on demand

In the plugin setup for weather there is a option to set the time to update maps.
In addition to setting it there I would like to see an option to update the maps on demand.

The anwer is yes for both. If you configure the plug-in to post wather updates in the VA panel, then even of you are not using the VAP anel the plug-in will fetch updates at the rate you specify in the config app.
For on-demand updates, press the erd button on the remote (control R on the keyboard). Jeff

How easy would it be to add a button to the Weather menu to force an update? I don't use a keyboard and I have the red button mapped to do something other than ctrl-r).
BTW, thank you for the weather plugin... my dad is visiting for Christmas and when I showed him the weather last night, he thought it was great
