searched forums for anything related to my problem...

I can't change to a channel that has a ZERO in it. like 107 Comedy Central (DISH). it says it's recording the channel but what gets recorded is 57 UPN out of Philly

my channel listing would be 29, 57, 107, 110 so since it can't "FIND" 107 the PVR defaults to the next lower channel, in my case ch57. I don't want hours of worthless UPN shows when I want to record the Daily Show or something else. Wink

any ideas???

I've been using GBPVR for about a month and not sure where to start my troubleshooting.

Using

WINPVR-150
Dish Network
Hauppauge Remote

Can you change to 107 using the Huappauge BlastCfg application? This is what GB-PVR uses behind the scenes to change channels.

no. when i use BlastCFG to change to the following TEST channels here is what I get

DESIRED CH.......CHANNEL I Get
107...............17
200...............23
202...............23
110...............110 ***OK***
120...............120 ***OK***
3.................3 ***OK***

So it seems it's ANY channel with a ZERO as the second digit.

Sorry, but you'll need to talk to Hauppauge about this.

oh hey....saw your (this) reply in another post.

Quote:You should be using the ".exe channel changer", and set the executable to "c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr\HaupBlast.exe". Is this what you are doing?

I'm NOT doing that. is that maybe my problem?? will attempt to test this tonight.

thanks for the assistance!

Both methods just use the Hauppauge IR Blaster software to change channels. Since you've indicated the Hauppauge software also causes this problem for you, then I'm certain it'll still do with HaupBlast.exe.
