PVR150 w/MCE; my story

Hi All,

My cousin told me about this site when i told him about my tv card. So today I replaced my $15 no name tv card for the PVR 150. Installed "everything" and have more trouble than ever.

First, on the PVR 150, the quality of the tv display is grey scale pathetic. Also, the channel series is 3 digits off (My channel 6 on regular tv is channel 3 on the PVR 150). Finally, the audio doesnt work at all. I have checked all the settings and I get nothing.

Now for my GBPVR problems. I installed the sw and went to setup the EPG and get the message "You must import your list of EPG channels..". I have no idea where to begin with this import. I figure once the channels are setup, I wont have any further problems, but in the meantime I am stuck at step 1.

I really wanna see this program work better then the comcast service.

When you created you capture source, did you set the EPG to 'zap2it' and fill in your zap2it username/password which you created at http://labs.zap2it.com?

Hate to do it to you. It is usually a last resort of mine - but start with the instructions.

It also helps to go one step at a time and test out your new 150 card on the WinTv software first. That should help you in troubleshooting. Then move up to GBPVR and never look back.
