I don't usually use WMP to view my tv captures but for some crazy reason, I decided to update from WMP9 to 10. All seems well with the exception that my mpegs from my PVR500 using GBPVR come out with horizontal lines. It plays other files fine and these tv files play fine in other players. What causes this?

If they look fine in GB-PVR, then I'd guess its caused by whatever MPEG2 decoder WMP is using.

lol, it does remind me of my youth!
I've heard so much about 10 but have just it since it came out....MS already knows lots about me but I did a yearly re-install last week and did give it serious thought before upgrading.
I too, thought it was a codec problem as that's the one thing I did differently this re-install.....not install too many codecs.
Thanks for the help.
