Hi,

I thought I'd worked out how to sort channels in the tv guide. On the channels tab in the config program I was renumbering the channels in a numerical order and they were appearing in the order I was numbereing to start with but some don't seem to have re-ordered. ie BBC1, 2, 3, 4, ITV 1, 2, 3, 4 etc I was just thinking how good it was to be able to reorganise my channels into a useful list not just the one given by the dvb-t suppier when it stopped working. Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks

It does work but not in real time. If you quit the config and reload it again you'll find them in the order you've set.

Would be quite nice to have auto refresh or an update button though as if you're organising a lot of channels it can be difficult to keep track.

Tried that. You're right you need to exit the config and the load it again to see the sort results. But even though they're sorted in the channel tab the guide tv guide only show some of the sort, some channels are in totally different places than they should be. Will try emptying epg and re-downloading to will see what that produces!

Thanks

Sorry, got the wrong end of the stick there. Yes I think you might be on to something with the EPG. I have two channels which don't receive EPG data and they always appear in the wrong place in the program guide. I just learned to live with it as I hardly watch then anyway, but i'd be interested to hear if you find the solution.

Your right, jut realised all channels not in the correct order have no epg data! Wonder if channels can be sorted in future versions even if they contain no epg data? Spose other thing to do is write some dummy epg data into them?
