I have been trying to get the My Videos plugin to work allowing me to burn files to disc. I have followed the install and setup instructions on the wiki and also searched for the errors on the forum here. Whatever I do I can't get past this error. Any help or suggestions would be most welcome.

The file is created and then deleted.

Interestingly When trying to open the files in DVDauthorGUI to test them I get errors telling me the files have NAV packets and the file needs demuliplexing!! Then an error saying there arn't any NAV packets. I guess I'm stuffed with going this route and shall have to find another way to backup to DVD. Never mind.

Yes I know. So why don't they do it?? I can do it with a range of other apps. I was hoping to get MyVideos up and running as I like the option to burn from gbpvr just a shame it dosen't like the files Ive captured.Sad

Sure, reven I appreciate that. I'm not having a "pop" at you and thanks for trying to help. It seems it's falling over before mplex however as running the files with PVAStrumento just crashes and the app closes in seconds. I'll try troubleshooting it when I have a bit more time.

the convert.bat file can use any program you like, try and find another one that will *fix* the recorded mpegs so dvdauthor can use them.

Thanks reven I'll do that when I have a bit more time. I've got a busy few days in my workshop coming up so it will have to wait a while. Got to pay the bills firstSmile Thanks again for sticking with me on this.

HTV, I'm not sure what your suggesting? I've used DVDauthor in the past successfully quite a bit but not with files captured with gbpvr. The problem it would seem is with my captured files. Some apps will work on them some will not. I'm going to follow revens suggestion of trying other apps to "fix" the files. I am able to Author DVDs and burn them outside of gbpvr so I'll stick with that for now. I was attracted to MyVideos as a solution as it will do what I want with the remote and away from the pc.
