There's been talk in the support forum lately of how the DVB EPG isn't working that well for many people, with many reports of gappy data.
You said previously in this thread that you only scanned the PIDs containing EPG data for the current mux. In the UK at least, each mux contains data for all other muxes - would it be too much extra work to include an option to scan the PIDs containing data for all other muxes (Perhaps as a "check this box if you're in the UK" in the config app)? Then, only one mux would need to be scanned (although for even better EPG coverage, all muxes could be scanned). This has the potential to decrease EPG update times and improve the amount of data in the EPG itself.

- Rubbish reception, due to dodgy set-top aerial
- MVP occasionally losing connection with PC
