In the lastest version, this has stopped working.
I.e. entering numbers on the MVP remote and then hitting the "skip" button forwarded that number of seconds.

This works fine here. What is your "manual skip timebase" set to in the config app, minutes or seconds?

My skip is set to minutes (1 minute)

EIDT, oh heck, sorry, it's set to seconds - I have it set to 60 seconds. Sorry.

So how many minutes did you try to jump forward? What exactly did you press.

Typically, I used to press any number "usually 300" on the keypad, once I pressed any button, I could see the numbers 300 on the left hand side of the screen, then I hit the "skip" key and it used to jump forward 300 seconds. Now no matter which key I press, I don't see any numbers coming up on the display.
Or more often after I jumped forward, I used to press 1 - 1 and the "Replay" button, it used to hop back 11 seconds (this was done to cure the occasional audio out-of-sync problem.

Initially I thought it was the "treat numbers like mobile phone text entry" setting in the config, I tried it with the box checked and unchecked, it makes no difference.

If your skip time is set to minutes (as you said above), then typing '300 Skip' will try to jump ahead 300 *minutes* not 300 seconds. GB-PVR will have determined you're trying to skip past the end of the file, so isn't letting the skip take place. Likewise '11 replay' will try to jump back 11 *minutes*.

More specifics on mine. I have not changed the default value, which I believe is 30 seconds, nor any other default.

When I pause Live TV, then start playback, I cannot skip forward via this method

When I replay a recording, and use the x skip, it goes back to the main menu and stops playing.

The default "manual skip timebase" is now minutes, so "3 skip" should jump three minutes. The timebase is different from the default Skip size. anedjf, what does you timebase say it is in the config app?

Missed that change. But, unfortunatley, my system had a serious error thismorning (unrelated to GBPVR), so I'll be starting over from scratch! [Image: sad.gif]

I'll let you know if it continues now that I know it defaults to minutes.
