File player playlists/audio

I'd really like it if the video player for gbpvr would support both playlists and audio normalization. The volume levels of some of my older video files vary, sometimes dramatically. I'd use gbpvr for all my media needs if it could dynamically adjust the volume of a playing file. As for playlists, well that goes without saying, I think we'd all like that.

I wont be building normalization in to GB-PVR, but I'm sure your could already do this by installing various utilities (ffdshow audio etc).

My question is regarding volume normalization for the mp3's I play through the Music Albums plugin. Prior to GBPVR I used MusicMatch Jukebox to equalize volume for the entire collection but this requires that I keep a neworked computer near my stereo. Is there a similar way to do this for the playlists I listen to through my MVP? I tried the ffdshow audio filter configuration for 'volume' (I left the settings at default) but had no luck getting my two test mp3's to play back at similar levels. Am I barking at the wrong tree? Thanks
