I couldn't access the forum all yesterday evening and night or this morning at home but at the office, it's fine. Was this just me and my ISP or did anyone else have this happen?

It has been fine for me all yesterday and today. Not experienced any problems.

The only thing I've done is a network tweak which I think caused my MTU to go to 1500 and changing it back to 1492 doesn't seem to help. None of the systems on my home network can access this site. I'm vpning in to my work computer to see this forum. No other site gives me problems.

Tipster, exactly where do you set this 'connect to speed'? I don't see if in my router config.
I've already tried google and it's cache only and it's lagging behind.
Good idea though.

It also could be a problem with one of the many computers that the packets get routed through from your home address to the forum. Your work computer could be taking a completely different route to get to the forum.

Before I left for work this morning, no luck. Came home from work, and it's working fine. It can't be me but maybe my ISP. Oddly enough, a bad storm passed thru last night and my slower connection the last few days seem to speed up.

If I ping http://www.gbpvr.com I also have not packet lost...

Odd - I get the same, some routers will allow you to block pings for security - which must be the case as the forums are loading fine...

fyi: The forum appeared to be down for a short while at around 21:00gmt.

it seems to have been getting a little flakey over the last couple of weeks.
