Is it just happening for me or is anyone else seeing the forum going on a total go slow at times??

Like slow enough that Firefox (latest) doesn't actually display anything but a white screen slow at time??

We have pretty good (7MB per/sec downloads at times) internet connection now & all other sites are instant load for me except for this site?? I have been seeing it now for getting on to a fortnight & while it could be something my end I have no idea where to start looking??

How long has it been like that for you? Is it like that all the time, or just some of the time?

Working fine for me on Firefox. Have you tried another browser or cleaned your cache?

As I said in my first message above it's been like this for about a fortnight now.

It's slow all the time to some extent compared to how it's been for me for about a year now since we went rural 4G internet.... But very slow is about 60% of the time & total slow is around 15% of the time I guess..... so for 75% of the time I don't know if the page is going to load or I'm going to end up with a blank page instead.

I'm not seeing it being slow as such, but I am occassionally seeing a page not load recently. I thought this was to do with a DNS service I'd been testing here on my machine. I hadn't thought others were seeing this problem. I'd be interested in any other reports of odd behaviour from the server.

It's possible other browsers are showing it in a slightly different way, and it looks slow to load.

If there is an issue, I'll have to find a way to demonstrate the issue to discuss with hosting provider, or find a way to narrow down it's cause. CPU/memory/etc seems to be ok from what I can see.

I have definitely noticed some sort of performance problems occasionally for the last month (?) or so. It isn't so much a general slowdown (i.e. not something I would describe as "forum running like a snail", but rather sometimes a particular action (like selecting the "New Posts" menu option or clicking on an forum link will take a long time to complete or will actually time-out the first time.

I use Chrome and have a high-speed Internet connection from Comcast. When I get the slowness/timeout from the NextPVR Forum, I'm not seeing any issues with other sites. It generally just happens for me "once at a time" (i.e. when I get a time-out, if I click refresh, the page will usually immediately load ok). So it "feels" to me like maybe some network packets are getting dropped or something similar and when it is "slow" the packet(s) are getting retransmitted before Chrome times out, and when it completely fails to load the packet(s) aren't getting retransmitted in time.

Can't say I've noticed anything wrong here.

Are you still seeing any problems? I've made some tweaks.
