directv dss tuner control

does this qbpvr support directv dss tuning capability like snapstream does using hard wiring to pc-serial com port and to the directv receiver? if so, i would love to use this instead of snapstream because they haven't support the hauppage mediaMVP. thanks.

I'm in New Zealand with no directtv, so no it doesn't have this functionality. If someone technical out there want to send me some sample code I can see what I can do. Alternatively the next version should be able to use girder, which can be setup to change channels for you.

You can currently use the .exe channel changer to run a utility which sends the dss serial channel commands.
