I have had to reinstall GB-PVR. When I use 95.16 all I get are all my channels with unknown beside them.
I unistall it

If I then install 94.11 - it finds all the channels. I upgrade to 95.16 - all fine, unti lI try to add a channel - it does not find any.

Any ideas?

I'm also seeing this. It happens for me with 96.08 and 95.16.
I'm unable to test with an earlier version as I don't have any saved.

Are any of the older versions still available for download?

TIA.

Are you using analog or digital? I'm having problems with gbpvr not finding channels on my digital card when Mediacenter and showshifter both find channels ok. As I only just got the card I haven't tried an earlier version.

So I also ask does anyone have an earlier version I could try?

Reproduce the problem on v0.96.8, the zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

Hi Sub.
Thanks for offering to take a look.

For info, I'm using a TwinHan DVB-T PCI with 1.2.3.5 WHQL BDA drivers on XP PRO SP2.

Thanks again.

EDIT: Apologies - I accidentally included the changelog file.

Looking at that log, it just looks like the device is never locking onto a signal.

I do much of my testing on a Twinhan DVB-T device, so I know the device itself is compatible with GB-PVR.

Have you confirmed your device is receiving signal by running another app? If so, what frequencies were channels found on so we can check GB-PVR is using the same frequency?

You could try bumping up a couple of values in the config.xml:

<BDAPsiScanStartupSeconds>4</BDAPsiScanStartupSeconds>
<BDAPsiScanWaitSeconds>15</BDAPsiScanWaitSeconds>

This will cause it to spend longer looking for channels. If it never locks onto a signal though, this wont help.

Pinnacle 300i DVB-T standard drivers 1.3.2.0 on winxp SP2
Showshifter and mediacentre both find channels.
Checked the showshifter frequencies and the one for bbc1 (c34 578000) is checked by gb-pvr
Tried altering the values you mentioned but still nothing.

Yours is getting a signal, but not finding any channels.

You could try temporarily setting the following registry setting, then run the channel scan again, then zip and attach the c:\psi.log file

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Devnz\LogPSIProcessing=2 (DWORD)

Remember to remove this afterwards though. It'll result in a potentially huge c:\psi.log file.
