The "SixPack" One skin with 6 Designs.....The AdVisior Tutorial skins have now become Advisor Themepacks
They can be found on the Wiki
http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Skin/BaseSkin

Now everyone with some graphical skills can make a skin.
To make it possible for translated texts to fit in button, I have been working on a skin with "common" sub menus, with different skin "Themes". Everything is very flexible and easy to skin. I have a "included" guide on how to use skin files and graphics.

Even my 11 year old daughter made a "Pink Paris Hilton" skin in 20 minutes with the ImageEditor tool.

The objective is to make it as simple as possible for "Graphical Designers" to make new skin designs.
Just change a couple of images and you have a new design.
Run a batch file and you got a new look and feel of GBPVR.

AdVisor Themes Skin Contents
AdVisor XML Layout Themes files can be found in the "Main Menu.Name" folder and its Sub folders, "SkinRoot" and AllTaskImages". The AdVisor skin can have different Grapical Themes with different Color styles for each Theme.

· AdVisor.BlueBaseSkin
This skin shows how to use a transparent mask for the "top bar". How to use task images in the main menu.
· AdVisor.BlueMCE2
This skin shows a traditional MCE like design. Also show a centered "active botton" is done.
· Advisor.Contour
Shows you how to make a skin that have buttons made with the command "DrawRectangle"
· Advisor.Horizont
This skin shows how to make a horizontal task list
· Advisor.SharperEdge
This skin shows how to use icons (task images) in the main menu for both "normal and selected tasks"
· AdVisor.Myth
The skin shows how a skin with many task buttons and large task images can look like.
· AdVisor.DesignerGuide.
This skin has transparent masks for making it easier to position elements in the sub menus, when designing a skin.

Just run the batch file CopyTheme.bat in each AdVisor.XXXX sub directory and all the skinfiles will be copied to the skin root and the other sub directories.
Best Regards

You can now get the "SixPack".
One skin with 6 Graphical Designs and Main Menu Styles
Can be found on the Wiki - http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Development/Skin

It has never been easier to make a skin, so make some cool designs now.

I must be having a 'thick' day as can't work out how to copy these themes so they work? I've copied the main folder to the skins folder and can use the first skin but how do I use the others? Tried running copythemes.bat but doesn't seem to work or at least I can't see where it's copying to as happens so quick!

Strange! It's working now! Maybe needed to run the bat files a couple of times or some don't work as folders don't exist until created by one of the other copytheme bat files?

It is not strange.
Just run the batch file CopyTheme.bat in each AdVisor.XXXX sub directory and all the skinfiles will be copied to the skin root and the other sub directories.

Read the document README_FIRST.RTF in the skin root and everything about the AdVisor skins will be explained.

It's strange it didn't work for me, i did follow the instructions! Anyway like I said its all good now. Nice skins by the way, just what GBPVR needed. Just one comment is the preview window on the main menu determined by the resolution I'm running as it doesn't seem to fit in the box precisely? Then again spose it would be good practice for me to redo the backgrounds to get it to fit properly! Thanks again!

I noticed that TV preview and Music visualisation behaves differently.
Music visualisation fits in the ListView windows but TV is streched outside....horizontally. I don't know is this can be adjusted in any way.
Well, the skins are not 100%......here and there.
Thanks for all feedback that you give......I will adjust, in time.
