Scheduled Recording produces 6KB file

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone could help shed any light on a problem I have intermittently.

The machine was set to record two shows last night, the first one recorded fine, the second 'Bush Tucker Man' only created a 6KB file,

I've included the GBPVRRecordingService.exe-native.log below, but it doesn't seem to show anything different from the first show.

I have never ever been able to get it to record successfully ye and I do always get the VERBOSE locked=0 present=0 strength=0 quality=0.

It seems it cant get the channel locked? Am I right?

Its possible its having a problem locking on to a signal, but I should point out that your cant rely on the "locked=0 present=0 strength=0 quality=0" log message. Some drivers just dont implement support for this. Some driver alo take a long time to lock channels, and it happens asynchronously, so may not have locked until after I check the status (and displayed the "=0" line).

Can you watch live tv? If so, then you should also be able record. I might be worth downloading and installing the Cyberlink Mux, and giving that a try.

Hi I have the same problem. My PVR is running 2 x Hauppauge 1300's. I have set them up and during setup both cards can see the channels and map to my XMLTV lineup individually. However if i'm recording on the card in slot 1 then I cannot view or record (just get 6KB file) anything on the second card ion slot 2. It just doesn;t sseem capable of using both tuners at once ! Any help greatly appreciated. I'm very new to sing GBPVR as I usually use SAGETV but because of the lack of support for DVB-T I've been trying GB-PVR instead.Thanks

I'm not really sure what would be causing this. It might be worth trying the Cyberlink mux instead of the DVR-MS. (here was a post that mentioned where to get it: http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=8...ostcount=4)

Thanks for information, sorry but how do I register and use the Cyberlink mux, is it simply a case of copying the "THMpgMux.ax" file somewhere, or do I need to do something else? Sorry as mentioned I'm really new to GB-PVR. If there's a related post for this please could somebody let me know. Thanks
