Does anyone know how to configure gb-pvr or zap2it to use the off-air signals from the dishnetwork guide? I have a HD 811 and the Hauppauge 150 and would like to record the off-air signals but the station numbers on the Dish Guide are weird (ex. 31-2) and I can't figure it out. The 811 is my HD decoder also. I have a habit of watching the hi-def signal while it is recording so that my wife can watch it later, and i just don't want to change the channels after the show starts!

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

hmm... do you mean you want your digital local channels to show up in your guide? In that case, you should just use zap2it and add the local channels you need. Remember, you can always change the channel number to anything that you want for use in GBPVR if it's something you don't like.

Yes, but local HD isn't available through the dish in my area only over the air, so they don't show up in the zap2it guide.

It doesn't matter whether your Dish carries it or not.. Just login to Zap2it and choose "Add a Lineup". Put in your zipcode, and choose Local Broadcast. In there you should see everything in your area, including the digital channels.
