Have just uploaded Volume OSD v1.1 (beta) to the wiki.

Changes
  • Possibly fixed the reported 'flickering OSD' problem (needs testing with different setups to be sure).
  • Added a test/setup facility. (Select Volume from the Main Menu).
  • Last thing I have added is more logging - this will make it easier to troubleshoot when people have problems.
Keen to hear any feedback. Support/feedback thread here.

ps. The new version requires GBPVRUIElements (v3.5+).

Fla and myself have been doing making small changes to the Volume OSD due to feedback from you guys.

Version 1.5 is now available on the Wiki.

Recent changes include:
  • Tweaked the Blue skin a little to avoid missing text.
  • Possibly fixed “Error creating window handle” issue.
  • Fixed a bug where the OSD would be hidden before the set timeout.
  • Added full mouse support to the test plugin.

What does full mouse support mean? I was thinking scrollwheel, but no.

Full mouse support: Scrollwheel and left button select on the menu buttons, right button exit to menu. Like what was discused in the other thread.

OK. The scroll wheel works, but the right click does not (for me at least). It works pretty well when using the Volume buttons, but it does not work too well when using the right and left nav keys. It did previously.

Have been making changes to the Volume OSD due to feedback from you guys.

Version 1.8 is now available on the wiki.

Changes include:
  • If the volume is muted the OSD stays on screen to remind the user this is the case.
  • Moved to .net 2.0
  • Added full support for Sub’s “fall back to blue skin” mechanisim if unable to find the required skin files.
  • Made some internal changes which should result in less CPU usage.
  • Improved the help text wording in test/config plugin.

Might seem a petty point but is it possible to change the osd volume bar to another colour apart from dark green as it doesn't show up well on my lcd monitor! White or light gray might be better?

Thanks
