Setup: PVR-350, Zap2it listing, USB-UIRT remote controling Sat Box

Issue: First attempted change does not always work using IR control.

Reproduce: 1) Run GB-PVR, select Guide and a channel
or 2) put gb-pvr to sleep with recording sch, channel change is not made.

Problem: Initial channel change is not made. Later changes with the arrow keys or go back to the guide changes work, just the 1st one fails.

Does the lights flash on your USB-UIRT when you think this initial channel change should be happening? The transmit timing settings may need some tweaking to perfectly fit the device you're trying to control.

Seems to be inconsistant.

Its probably a sign that the USB-UIRT transmitted codes are only marginally being received correctly. This is probably due the time between digits being transmitted.

Open the file you're using from "...\gbpvr\IR definitions\USB-UIRT" and insert a line immediately after "USB-UIRT IR file" saying:

InterCodeDelay 250

200 is the default, so you may want to try a few other values.
