Hello all,
I'm currently having two problems with GBPVR.
I'm using a DVICO Fusion HDTV USB device (DVB-T) on a P4 820 D PC with an ATI Radeon X1800XL, on Windows XP SP2 using NVIDIA DVD Decoder.
The DVICO DVB-T tuner is working well with the Fusion HDTV software, Media Portal and DVB WebScheduler. However in GBPVR, all is fine : it tunes correctly and display the right channel.
But after some times, GBPVR will not tune any channels other than those on one frequency (same transponders). If I use Media Portal right after seeing this behavior, it exhibits the same problem : can't tune channels on other transponders. However Fusion HDTV is still able to tune any channels (and maybe DVB Web Scheduler).
It seems to me that the USB device is left in an inconsistent state by GBPVR, and only a reboot will resume the device to normal operation.
I'm using the latest driver found on the DVICO site (3.30.01), and this only happens in GBPVR, I can use the DVB-T tuner in Media Portal and DVB Web Scheduler every day, and changing channels many times without "locking" the tuner to a transponder at all.
The other problems I'm having is with program boundaries. I'm using "Timeshifting always" (DVR-MS as mux) and when GBPVR reach a program boundary, it just stops. I've verified that the recording service does started to record the following program, but for a reason or another GBPVR doesn't play the new file or it does play it but the recording service just stops (the recorded file is 3 to 20 seconds in length).
I'm attaching all log files produced by a fresh setup of the latest version of GBPVR (96.12).
Any help would be appreciated as GBPVR is much more user friendly to use than Media Portal.
Regards,
Stéphane.
