just a quick re-installing windows question..

i'd rather not lose my scheduled recordings, so i was planning on making a backup of my gbpvr directory right before i format my hard drive. is there anything in the registry i have to backup/restore in order to keep my recording schedule? or do i have the right idea to just copy the folder, format/install windows, etc., install gbpvr, and overwrite the folder with my backup?

You should only need to backup config.xml and gbpvr.mdb.

I dont' think GBPVR makes any Registry entries (which is good!) I think you just need to backup the GBPVR directory and the Hauppauge IR remote file in /Windows if you use (and made modifications to) it. After the format, I would reinstall and reconfigure everything if you want a clean install.

Look in the jet access database and see what programs you need to reschedule.

Don't forget to backup your ChannelIcon folder...curse me forgetting that after setting it up perfect
